Anushka Sharma is a Bollywood actor as well as a producer. She has been awarded numerous acting awards and is one of the top-paid actors. Anushka Sharma was born on 1st May 1988 in Ayodhya from Uttar Pradesh. Her parents were Kumar Sharma & Ashima Sharma. Anushka Sharma's father is an old colonel. and her mother is a housewife. Karnesh, Anushka Sharma's older brother, who was in the Merchant Navy is now a filmmaker. Anushka completed her studies at the Army School Bangalore. Anushka Sharma didn't want to be an actress and she hoped to turn into a fashion model or a writer. Anushka joined Elite Model Management after graduating and was trained by Prasad Bidapa, the stylist consultant. Anushka started modeling in the year 2017 at Wendell Rodricks Les Vamps Show. Also, she was selected to represent the collection Spring Summer 2007 of Rodricks. Anushka Sharma has participated in several brand campaigns since she made her Lakme Fashion Week debut. This includes campaigns in the name of Fiat Palio and Fiat Whisper Nathella Jewelry. Anushka began an acting course and started auditioning for films along with her modeling career. In 2008 Anushka Sharma began her acting career with the film Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi opposite Shah Rukh Khan. To get ready for the screen test she spent the whole day. Later on she was contracted for three films under the Yash Raj Films banner. In the film, she was portrayed as a young lady who was married to a middle age man (the role Shah Rukh Khan is playing). The film was hit on the box office and was the second-highest-grossing movie of 2008. Anushka performed alongside Shahid Kapoor, Vir Das as well as Meiyang Chang in the 2010 film "Badmash Company". The movie received mixed reviews. In the same year, Anushka Sharma appeared in the film 'Band Baaja Baaraat' with Ranveer Singh in an upper-middle class Punjabi girl who starts her own wedding-planning business. The film was an unexpected success with a lot of praise. Anushka's contract to make three films under Yash Raj Films was completed by Band Baaja Baaraat.
